| The Romford & District was formed in May 1898 for the purpose of inter-club matches consisting of two divisions of 11 clubs.Two handsome cups were presented to the League by Sir H.H.Raphael MP and J.J.Crowe JP. and four sets of medals were presented to the winners and runners up in each Division. Things have changed a lot since then but I welcome you to Grassroots Football the website for the Clubs, Teams, Players and Referee's of the Romford and District League. |
